If questioners are divided into types, there are several that come into the chatroom.
The debater is the type who will make a statement disguised as a question, in order to show us the errors of our ways.
The intellectual enquires, reads, and listens, and seeks to match what is read and heard against their internal mental model.
The subversive believes that we have got it wrong, and if we respect and follow their guidance, they can lead us to salvation.
The observer watches from the sidelines, and is carefully neutral.
The weight-lifter believes that if they try hard to do everything they have been told is useful, they will progress faster.
The emoter (the spellchecker doesn’t like this word) is absorbed in feelings, and believes that they are a reliable guide to truth.
The vegetable believes that if they come into the room and do nothing for themselves, they will grow.
The dilettante will be in several rooms at once, to get the benefit multiplied.
The charlatan quite simply says/agrees one thing and behaves differently.
All these descriptions, and more, are the scripts of body/brain configurations, of course. Many of us have bits of more than one. I recognise in my body/brain configuration most of these.
All these lumps and bumps are accepted and loved by the Self, knowing that such behaviours are appropriate for that body/brain’s evolutionary position.
My acceptance and love is a powerful force.
