“Go with the flow” “Follow your heart” “Being impulsed to do XYZ” sound like very different things, but considering these injunctions – which are used widely in discussion and dialogue about spiritual affairs – leads me to believe that they are the same.Corvus has mentioned that he has turfed himself out of bed and opened up the chatroom many times in response to that inner calling – and someone who would benefit from accepting his services has shown up “by chance.” Here, of course, both Corvus and the other person are responding to an inner impulse. By this meeting, the visitor to the chatroom has demonstrated that they qualify for an opportunity to progress spiritually that may not pass this way again this lifetime.
Please please please please please do not make the terrible mistake of imposing your own petty terms on such an important meeting. Try and put aside your dramas, your requirements, your pride, your scripts, your preconditions, your learning, your criticisms, just enough to do what you are asked to do, to accept what you are being asked to accept, to read what you are asked to read.
There is so much at stake, and you are there because you have earnestly asked and wished for Corvus’ kind of help. Don’t blow it.
And if you do blow it, learn your lesson, and then COME BACK – we are waiting for you.
